absolutely flavor the rainbow with a colourful 7-layer rainbow cake! Tip: Use liquid gel or gel-paste meals coloring for a deeper, richer colour in place of its conventional liquid counterpart.
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil
- 3 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- Red, pink, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple gel food coloring
- 7 disposable baking pans
- Vanilla Buttercream
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 1/2 cups sugar
- Preheat oven to 350F. Spray disposable baking pans with nonstick spray.
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt in a big bowl.
- combine sugar, oil, eggs, and vanilla extract in any other bowl. mix with an electric mixer on medium speed till substances are just blended.
- upload half of flour combination and half of milk to sugar aggregate. blend well. Repeat with second 1/2 of flour aggregate and milk.
- Divide batter calmly into 7 bowls. whilst adding meals coloring to each bowl, start off with about 1/four - 1/2 tsp. add more as important. Pour cake batter into prepared pans. Bake in batches of two or three for 10-12 mins, or till center has set and edges of cake barely turn away from the pan. let cake layers cool completely before frosting.
